Queen Precious Ugo Nwachukwu Opens up on her Pet Project. 


In what has been described as the most articulate press briefing, Queen Precious Ugo Spilled the beans on her soon coming pet project for the Nigerian Girl Child.. Tagged: SOUTH EAST SECONDARY EDUCATION EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM. [SESEEP 2015 PROJECT]. The project is aimed at educational advocacy, relevant materials procurement to forestall learning impediments for the South Eastern Girl Child.
Queen Precious while briefing the press said the mission of this project is to empower adolescent girls through improved educational opportunities and takes an active participation  in shaping the future of young people through research, skill acquisition, advocacy and implementation of strategic programs that further it's objectives.

"Since the woman is the man's secondary half, it is only fair that both of them should be educated side by side in other to make them enlightened companions. Apart from the fact that no man without an understanding partner can successfully raise a good family, a woman who is illiterate, no matter what, cannot cope with an educated husband" she said.
Asked why she chose that part of the society -the Girl Child, the reigning Eastern Ambassador had this to say "I chose the teenage girl child because I am one myself and I have love for teenagers. The girl child is a sensitive aspect of the society... An investment in the Girl Child is truly  investment in the nation".

She also made us to understand that some of the reasons to support Girl's Education is that, it could lead to Reduction in Infant Mortality, Reduction in Maternal Mortality, Reduction in Population Explosion, Reduction in Child Marriage, and above all Reduction in Domestic and Sexual Violence.
In her own speech, the winner of the Face of Imo 2014, Her Majesty, Queen Chisom  Agoawuike, maintained that educating a man is educating one person, but educating a woman is educating a whole family and thus, the entire nation.
She urged the government, corporate organizations, reliable firms, NGO's and concerned individuals to support the SESEEP Project in order to achieve a reform in the Economy of our nation through Empowerment.
