Miss Continent Nigeria Eastern Ambassador Her Majesty, Queen Precious Ugo, paid an official visit to IKENEGBU GIRLS SECONDARY SCHOOL, Owerri

On Thursday, the 23rd of July, Her Majesty, Queen Precious Ugo, Miss Continent Nigeria Eastern Ambassador was giving a warm welcome by the Principal, Staff and Students as she paid an official visit to IKENEGBU GIRLS SECONDARY SCHOOL in Owerri, Imo State.

In line with the Rights to Girl Child Education, and in fulfilment of her pet project SOUTH EAST SECONDARY EDUCATION EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM [SESEEP], she encouraged the young girls on the qualitative benefits of girl's education, and on the long run, its positive impact in the future of the country.
On the same vain, Anunobi Val Peterson, the MD of PSA Foundation, urged the school girls to embrace education judiciously, as no knowledge is consider a waste. He emphasized on the saying;

"To educate a man is to educate one person, but To educate a woman is to educate the entire nation"
In a brief talk, the Trade Marketing Consultant of MTN Nigeria, Mr David Imeh, spoke on the Vital problems affecting the Nation's Education Sector, and possible measures to combat these problems.
In order to support quality Education among the Nigeria Girl Child, Her Majesty gave out lots of educational materials such as books, pens, school bags, calendars, waste bins, diaries, etc to the students and promised to award scholarships to outstanding students in her subsequent visits.
